Harmony Wildlife loves Kel!
I was born and raised in Nashville. My husband and I raised two daughters here. We’ve always had animals: fish, gerbils, guinea pigs, dogs, and cats. My only grandchildren are dogs, cats, lizards, and chickens.
I love to hike trails, ride my bike, travel, and cook.
If I were a Tennessee native animal, I’d be an opossum. I try to mind my own business, avoid drama, and occasionally play dead when asked to leave my house and go out. 😂
I love volunteering because I like to stay busy and at Harmony I feel like I’m helping the animals that really need it.
I’ve always loved the local wildlife, even the deer that try to eat my flowers and the raccoon who tried to live in my attic last year. 😳 I live on a wooded lot and spend lots of time watching the deer, squirrels, and birds.
I don’t know if I have a favorite animal but you just can’t beat a sweet cat imo.
Hobbies include yoga, reading, tennis or pickleball, and as I mentioned before, hiking, biking, traveling, and cooking. I’m on the sourdough train.
I guess bucket list would be traveling more with my husband who is retiring soon.
