Caila M. grew in Middle Tennessee, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from MTSU. We are thrilled have her on our volunteer team!
If you were a TN native animal, which one would you be?
I would definitely be a fox (specifically red). I have always loved their characteristics and feel like we share a feisty yet mysterious energy.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
I love getting to learn more about our native species and doing my part in taking care of their wellbeing.
What made you interested in local wildlife?
I have always felt a calling towards an animal-focused career, but wanted to be a part of something broader than specifically working at a local veterinarian. I want to be hands on with helping our ecosystems thrive.
What is your favorite animal and why?
My favorite animal has to be a dolphin. I am a water girl at heart, and love learning about their intelligence and emotions.
What are your hobbies?
I love to travel and experience different cultures, go to music festivals/concerts, and I also own a small vintage business, “Feel The Groove”.
What's next on your bucket list?
Getting my Veterinary Technician Certification to further my career in wildlife rehabilitation!
Harmony Wildlife loves Caila!
