Grey Fox
The fox shown here arrived at Harmony Wildlife Rehabilitation Center with a skull fracture and multiple pelvic fractures. After 2 1/2 months of healing time, he was released back into the wild.
Although mostly active at night, the grey fox can sometimes be found in the daytime foraging in brush or wooded areas. The gray fox is a climber and feeds mainly on small rodents and mammals, insects, and plants. This species of fox has few natural enemies except for man.
